West Coast Roast
All orders placed by 12am (midnight) PST will be roasted and shipped the following business day.
The name "West Coast Roast" is a nod to the late Alfred Peet, founder of Peet's Coffee and Tea. The rumor is that back in the 60's and 70's when Alfred's brand was catching on, other roasters had a difficult time convincing their clients in the San Francisco Bay area that their coffees were high quality, unless they were roasted dark like Peet's! It's amazing how things have changed since then.
This coffee is a dark roast characterized by a sweetness similar to caramel and round, full body. Think southern bistro dark roast. It has that great 'dark coffee' kick and is a favorite among our wholesale customers. Try this one as a drip coffee with a bit of cream, you won't be disappointed.
